About
Remond Industry, LLC is a Texas holding company. Its whole business is to own the warehouse at 2570 West Commerce Street in West Dallas and lease it to the family of window, door, and lumber businesses that work there. It does not own the building yet; the sale has not closed. Nobody is worried.
If you want windows, you want the tenants. If you want the landlord, you have found it, or will have shortly.
Huh?
The building stands on the ground La Réunion settled in 1855. One of the colonists, Emil Remond, stayed fifty years, made bricks, and proved the white rock of the bluffs would make cement. The industry that grew from that proof built Cement City and poured modern Dallas. He died before any of it paid. A name that meant something on this side of the river seemed better than a set of initials. The story is better than the company.
